Dr. Pankhuri Aggarwal and Dr. Fiona Thomas got awarded the Association for Psychological Science (APS) Teaching Fund Research Grant and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Research Grant for their project “Navigating multicultural education in clinical psychology doctoral programs: Insights from the Global North.”
Dr. Pankhuri Aggarwal and Dr. Stacie Furst-Holloway got awarded Strategic/Collaborative or Interdisciplinary Faculty Team Project Award for their project titled, The Thrive Collective: Writing-Based Interventions for Well-Being and Retention Among Pre-Tenured Early Career Faculty at UC. They will be collaborating with Drs. Littisha Bates and Patricia Valladares-Ruiz on this project.

Dhanvi Sayani presented a research poster at National Multicultural Conference and Summit (NMCS) 2026 in Seattle. She got awarded $300 grant from the University Honors Program to support her attendance at this conference.

Brooklyn Blaising presented a research poster at the APS Global Psychological Science Summit.
Brooklyn Blaising presented a research poster at the University of New Mexico McNair Scholars Research Conference in Albuquerque. One of her reviewers noted “Very interesting and engaging oral delivery and explanation of findings included in the poster. The two really complimented each other. Brooklyn was enthusiastic and compelling in explaining how they made culturally competent adaptations to the existing depression tool.”
